Discovery
A free 30-minute call to talk through your business and what's not working on your current site. Within a few days, you'll get a proposal with recommendations, scope, and price. Once you book, you get a dedicated client portal for everything related to your project.
Strategy
You fill out a project questionnaire, then we meet for a strategy session to dig into your clients, your goals, and how you talk about your work. A few days later, I send a moodboard so we agree on the look before design begins.
Design & Build
I design your home page first so you can give feedback before I build out the rest. Every page is designed to communicate clearly, guide your visitors, and make it easy for them to take the next step.
Copy
I write your copy alongside the design, built on what I learned in our strategy session. I use AI to help draft, then shape every page until it sounds like you. You review and approve the copy separately, so wording and layout each get focused feedback.
Launch
After your final review, I connect your domain, set up your SEO and analytics, and test everything across devices and browsers. Once it all checks out, your site goes live.
Support
You get 30 days of support and a personalized toolkit with a short course on updating your Squarespace site. If you'd rather not manage things yourself, a monthly support plan keeps your site current.

Every estimate is built around actual scope. A small service business might need five pages, while home builders and remodelers showcasing extensive portfolios or nonprofits serving multiple audiences might need ten. Things like booking tools, e-commerce, or large amounts of copywriting can push a project above the starting rate. The full scope and price are always confirmed before any work begins.
Open Tree Creative works with one client at a time, so the process is efficient. Most projects move from the initial strategy session to launch-ready in 4 to 6 weeks, depending on complexity and how quickly feedback comes back. Larger or more complex projects, like nonprofit web design builds with multiple target audiences, can run longer. That timeline is always set during the proposal stage.

Yes. At Open Tree Creative, I use AI as a tool throughout my work. It helps me organize project information and milestones, troubleshoot issues, write and debug code, and work through large amounts of information faster. I also use it to help draft website copy. You review and approve all copy before launch.
AI doesn't replace my professional expertise. I take full responsibility for the judgment calls, the design, deciding what belongs on your site, making sure everything works, and testing the code.

Once you're happy with the proposal, I send a contract. A signed contract and a 50% deposit reserve your spot on my calendar, and you'll get access to your client portal to kick things off.
